Christmas in July Gifts

These are the gifts I sent to O'Faigh in the Christmas in July swap, I can post as I know she has received them.

Along with some secret Lindt chocolates, a fat quarter and packet of 2 1/2" squares and  a few other goodies. Thanks to Cheryl for organising

The bag is adapted from a Janelle Wind pattern but I replaced the stitchery in it with some fabrics from a French General jelly roll as I know O'Faigh is not so keen on stitcheries.
The decoration is adapted from a Marg Low pattern, I used my acrylic circle templates to fit the size of the wooden button.
The stocking is an Anni Downs pattern.
They were fun making although I was time poor for a while and worried that I might not get them finished in time to post.

The photo has appeared!

Not sure how I have managed to upload this photo successfully and the others are stuck on my ipad.
The bag was a workshop I did in May at the Stitching Studio. Challenging and exhausting with lots of new techniques. I bought extra fabrics so that I could make a needlecase and maybe a project folder. I think it will suit a pattern I bought today at the Craft and Quilt Fair.
The project folder was a kit from Natalie Lymer of Cinderberry Stitches - a stitching day at the Novotel and has been waiting for some time to be finished.
The Christmas Elf is a Gail Pan pattern from another stitching day. Her design was a cushion, I chose to stitch in bright Christmas thread and have put it on a canvas.
Hubby is going to load software on my laptop so I can store my photos there. Soon no stopping me!!! Especially as I have charged up the battery on my phone!
Have a great weekend
